Our History
D2 Marketing began as a partnership in 2014. Since then, it has become David Dixon’s passion to build this one man independent building products representative group. Based in a suburb of Kansas City, D2 focuses on identifying problems and assisting with solutions early in the Design Development stage, creating better projects. Coupled with our contractors’ high-quality installations, we represent only the best building products and systems by a select group of manufacturers. These sales areas include air barriers, waterproofing, roof products, insulation, and expansion joint closure systems.
David Dixon, RRC, RRO, CCCA, CCPR, CDT has over 25 years of commercial building envelope experience representing four large manufacturers. He relocated to Olathe, KS in 2011 and has been creating new relationships with local & regional owners and specifiers. Mr. Dixon has extensive experience in both commercial building envelope and expansion joint closure systems. He believes that understanding roofing, walls, and waterproofing is important since there are some circumstances that one or two may affect the third area within the building enclosure.
Certifications
He became an IIBEC (RCI) Registered Roof Observer in 2003, and a Registered Roof Consultant in 2004.
He earned his CSI CDT, Construction Document Technologist, CCPR, Certified Construction Product Representative and CCCA, Certified Construction Contract Administrator certifications in 2003.
